4 Simple Steps To Dry Your Polished Nails Quicker
There’s nothing more frustrating than painting your own nails and hoping you don’t smudge them before the polish dries. ESPECIALLY, when you’re in a hurry to get somewhere. Luckily, there’s a natural home remedy to speed up the drying process.
Make a bowl of water large enough for hands to submerge in, with ice cubes. It’s important to prepare this prior to painting your nails so they don’t smudge after doing such a beautiful job!
Paint your nails with thin coats of polish. Thicker coats will take longer to dry.
Use a clear fast drying top coat of polish which also helps protect polish from chipping longer. Regular clear polish works just as well. However, the fast drying polish would help speed the process.
Once your satisfied with your final coat, place hands gently into the iced water you prepared for 2-3 minutes. I normally keep my nails in for at least 5 minutes just to be sure. But it really depends on how many coats you paint and the thickness. Also be sure not to bump nails into the ice because they could easily smudge polish before the coat(s) set onto your nails.
These steps are simple, low-cost, and one of the best home remedies to use for the on-the-go individual. 😉
